Born on July 26, 1974 in Toronto, Canada, Daniel Negreanu discovered that he had some very good poker skills, and thanks to his parents, immigrants from Romania, who encouraged him to chase his dreams, he decided that he could become a professional poker player.
At the age of 18, Daniel Negreanu had dropped out of high school - one credit short of graduation - to focus on poker.
