One of the best poker players in the history, an Australian poker player which originally from Lebanon, Joe Hachem became an instant poker celebrity when he claimed the $7 million main prize at the 2005 World Series of Poker.


It was with the movie Rounders when poker pro Joe Hachem started playing the Manila version of poker for fun during his teenage years and decided to try his luck playing live at the Crown Casino in Melbourne. He studied medicine, eventually qualifying as a chiropractor. However, in 2002, at the age of 36, Joe Hachem was forced to give up his career as a chiropractor due to the diagnosis of a rare blood disease.
